Kathryn is a graduate of New York University. Most recently she was an Assistant Producer for Only Human, a podcast from WNYC Studios. She previously interned in the newsroom at WNYC, covering health-related stories.  

She was a senior producer for WNYU's science and technology radio show, The Doppler Effect, and was community manager at Makeshift magazine. She also produced and directed a short documentary in collaboration with the Urban Democracy Lab.

By the Radio is a continuing personal audio-visual project of illustrated memories from her grandmother, Mary Jane Chen.
